Show Notes

Gertrude Atherton, a native San Franciscan, attended St. Mary’s in Benicia. She eloped with a man who had been courting her twice-divorced mother: George HB Atherton. They lived on the Atherton Estates, now known as Atherton CA. This story is a mysterious, Gothic tale about an author who becomes obsessed with children in some old portraits. As we move in to the haunting month of October our stories will get more and more…haunting…. Enjoy!
