Anderson was considered a “writer’s writer”. His style was Naturalism. Anderson invites the reader into his process as a writer, in which he unfolds the meticulously developed characters' views of the world. He wrote a parody of Anderson’s one and only best-selling novel which Anderson took as a great insult. Enjoy!
